Where do we cover?

Kusadasi is a large seaside resort close to Izmir aiport. It is a bustling tourism centre and caters for all tastes.

Altinkum is on the west coast of Turkey, between the airports of Izmir and Bodrum. It is a delightful, small town, seaside resort and enjoyed by many tourists, investors and people re-locating alike. This location also covers the areas of Akbuk, Didim and Greenhill.

Bodrum peninsula has its own airport and bustling tourism centre. It is well known for its castle, maritime museum and ferries to Greece and the small Greek island of Kos.

Marmaris is a picturesque holiday location close to Dalaman airport.

Fethiye is a traditional seaside resort close to both Dalaman and Antalya airports.

Kemer is a traditional seaside town with beautiful mountainous scenery and historical places of interest. It is close to Antalya airport.

Antalya is a busy city with a variety of locations along the coastline. It has its own airport just outside the city.

Belek is the golfing capital of Turkey, with numerous golf courses, large hotels and small seaside resorts all combined in to one. Antalya is the closest airport.

Property Ownership

Unlike many other European countries, whatever you buy in Turkey is freehold. As long as the person selling is in possession of the Title Deed for your particular property or plot of land, and there are no outstanding debts, the transfer of ownership is simple and can be completed in one day. Military Checks on Turkish land and property is strictly regulated as to where it is located. Foreigners are not permitted to buy near designated military zones and once the title deed transfer application is registered, a military check will be completed on the location of your property. Recent regulation will make this process easier in the next few years, but this may take up to 3 months at present. Once the military check is completed, the title deed transfer can take place. This is built in to all purchasing contracts. Note that we do not offer any property or land for sale that is in a designated military zone.

Bank Accounts

All you need to open a bank account is your passport and a Turkish tax number. We will help you to open a bank account at the bank of your choice. As in Europe, there are government banks and private banks, all offering similar services. The rate of interest on savings is very attractive here and there are many options for investments. All interest earned is taxable at source, hence the need for a Turkish tax number, which we will take you to obtain in less than 30 minutes!

Pets

If you are relocating and want to bring your pet to Turkey, note that you are only allowed to bring either 1 cat or 1 dog or 10 aquarium fish. The best place to look for rules and regulations regarding bringing pets to Turkey is either with the carriers themselves or the Turkish Consulate in your country. Health care when living in Turkey is not a problem. The hospitals here have some of the finest surgeons in the world. You can choose to go private or take out an insurance policy. You can get insurance to cover every aspect of illness and at very affordable prices with three available packages, one to suite your budget. The chemists sell just about every medication over the counter, again at affordable prices. The dentists are some of the most highly qualified in the world, and cosmetic dentistry is on a par with America. The health care all round is excellent!
